Medals of Draconia

These are the medals. They can be given out by the Emperor, the Chancellor and the Praetor. They resemble the deeds of certain great Draconians who have truly achieved a great amount for the Empire. They bestow great honour on the bearer and are the sign for outstanding activities in service of the Draconian Empire.

Medal of Knowledge Medal of Knowledge - This medal is given by the Patriarch, or an Archdruid of any guild, to any guildmember that has been of great service to the Druidic Order, usually in the form of retrieval of lost knowledge, gaining an initiate for the Order, or by submitting a few stories to your archdruid.

Medal of the Tracker Medal of the Tracker - Given to those who complete a retrieval quest. The player must find a specific item dictated by the Questmaster, take a screenshot of it being identified, and send it to the Questmaster before anyone else does it. These medals are categorized by the bronze, silver, and gold ratings, to denote the respective rarity of the item, and therefore the difficulty of the quest.

Medal of Dedication Medal of Dedication - This medal is given by the Emperor only, as it is a very important reward. It is won by serving the Empire above and beyond the call of duty. One can do this by helping out with the guild website, creating branch websites, being a good-will ambassador to other realms, and hundreds of other things that add up to catch the eye of the aristocracy.

Imperial Star of Honour Imperial Star of Honour - This is the highest reward any citizen of the Empire can possibly attain. Only the Emperor can give this reward, though anyone can receive it. It is unknown by what criteria it is given, though it must be exacting indeed. The current praetor suggests that it could be given for courageous play in the face of great danger, or extreme self-sacrifice, or somehow rescuing the Empire from a grave threat, perhaps. But it is unknown exactly how the royal mind works.

Medal of Honour Medal of Honour - Though not as prestigious as the Imperial Star, the Medal of Honour is a great achievement by itself. It can be given by any of the top three in the Empire. The requirements for winning it are as above, though slightly less rigourous.

Medal of Valour Medal of Valour - This is rewarded for bravery in the face of the enemy (i.e. the demons of the labyrinth), in addition to saving the life of a fellow citizen in the labyrinth. This is for true acts of courage, and is not given lightly.

Medal of Investiture Medal of Investiture - This is rewarded for bringing people to the Empire, and having them promoted to full knights. Recruiting five people, and having them check out as legit, honourable players who are genuinely interested in the Draconian Empire, and subsequently having them knighted automatically grants this medal.

Medal of Teaching Medal of Teaching - This is imparted to one who has taught many initiates the intricacies of the wild-lands (i.e. the battle.net). The dedication of this soul to the survival of the weak, while he could be adventuring by himself in more challenging lands, is a credit to his honour.
