Medals and Honors of the Druids

   These are medals that are to replace the ancient Medal of Wisdom. Those who hold the Medal of Wisdom are to keep it, to designate what era they held it in. However, no further people will receive this medal, as it has now been retired.

   All of these medals are hard to come by, and there is no set way to win one. Merely by the judgement of the Archdruid, or of the Patriarch alone can these medals be awarded. It is well known that the Druids are not seekers of wealth nor fame, and there has been no outcry for medals to reward the druids (at least not from among the druids themselves), but I felt that it would be pleasant to reward my hardworking brothers and sisters in some way; I see so many quest awards beside the names of the avid gamers, yet barely anything by the names of my faithful druids. My children are always hard at work, with little time to play games. Hopefully, these medals will help to repay some of their loyalty.

• The Eagle Cross is for excellence in political knowledge. Examples could be: making a system that works better than the previous one, or being of great benefit to the Order through secular means
• The Child's Star is for instigating a successful storyline (of the scale of the Blight of Enchantica, or the Forgotten Journey, etc.)
• The Celestial Disc is for excellence in spiritual knowledge. An example would be the conceptualisation and functioning of the new Nalan Temple, or of the Treatise of the Gods
• The Dove's Feather is for excellence in bardic work. Such a medal is not merely given to those who are prolific poets, but to those who somehow enhance the way of life of our people with their poetry
• The Circle of Peace is for excellence in ambassadorial work. Examples could be stopping wars, and discovering other good kingdoms to share our lore with
• The Owl's Feather is the replacement for the archaic Medal of Wisdom, it is the medal given for exceptional service to the Order of a more comprehensive nature, and is more valued than all those listed above
• The Sun of Kala is the greatest honour, bestowed by the Patriarch alone. It is like the Owl's Feather in function, but is even more prestigious. The Sun of Kala is the druidic equivalent to the Imperial Star of Honour in the Draconian Empire
