The Chronicler stretches from her day of hard teaching and braces herself for the more relaxed part of the day. She places away the tome from which she read. The class, realizing that the fun part of the day was quickly approaching, began to rumble with socialization. Alewyn then raises her hand. The class falls to silence as she begins the next lesson.
"If you go through some of the posts in the forums, you will see a style of Roleplaying that is most popular with many people. This style of roleplaying is called (by me) conventional RP. The rules to conventional RP are simple; be creative and have fun. There are no restrictions, and no censorship, other than vulgar language and explicit sexuality for obvious reasons, so anything you write will be accepted. A common way of conventional RP that is used widely in the forums is the use of italics and *asterisks*. These two items are used to describe situations that do not contain any dialogue, they only serve to narrorate a story. For example, I have decided to create these pages in the form of conventional RP so if you look above, at the top of the page, you will notice italics that describe moods, location, atmosphere, and sometimes battles that take place in the stories. If the story written in conventional RP style fits the criteria of possible history, the Druids will deem it so. With these words, I hope that you all find the time to embrace this glorious world, and partake in the wonderful stories that have been created in the forums."
