Dragon Age patch 1.03?

Anyone else having a problem with it?

It locks up my PC completely after like 6 - 7 mins.

I suspect that it is a problem with my PC and the patch together.  My graphics card has been on the fritz for awhile, I think some of the VRAM is gone bad.

But other people have been complaining about crashes to desktop.


Cait, did you download the patch from the internet?  Or did it install it from awakenings?

I installed it from the internet, then Awakenings installed it again.  I am not having the issues crashing like you're mentioning, but it does promptly crash every single time I tab out.

See my post in the other forum down there for the problem I DID have, which pissed me off to no end.

Yup it was my graphics card, I got a BFG TECH Geforce 98000 GT, 1gb

Thing is awesome.  I was confused due to it not requiring a second power source for the card.  Works well so far though.  I have no problem with Dragon Age crashing, and playing at maxed settings instead of almost maxed.
