DE in the dictionary
« on: Mar 03, 2010, 05:30 PM »

Just an FYI.  Came across this by accident:

http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/Draconian+Empire

Looks like DE has been around long enough that it's a recognized acronym!  It's near the bottom: DE - Draconian Empire (gaming)

In case anyone is interested, DE is now somewhere between 13 and 14 years old if you include its infant version, DG (Draconian Order Guild).  I say between 13 and 14 because we've always disputed when the actual date was.  I think it was spring 1996.

Hmm...  Must have been 1999 when I first crossed the seas to make mischief among the Lords and Ladies of the Draconian Empire.  I think there are those who still regret ever letting me come ashore!  But those were the good old days, right?!

Best wishes to all my old friends in the DE!

O snap its Yantis!   I remember when one of our disgruntled members got a hold of moderating rights in the Diablo2 channel and kept booting people.  We spent 2 hours getting booted.
