GAMING

Welcome to the gaming section of this Empire. Built upon the foundation of Diablo, Diablo 2 and their expansions, we always tread the path of honor. We believe in the community a game brings and game as a group, slaying the forces of evil that are brought before us. There are also times where we prefer a honorable duel and have fun in the competition that it brings to the empire.

Currently we support three kinds of games: Primary, Secondary and Grandfather Games.

Primary Games
These are the games that we fully support and recruit for. Our current primary games are Guild Wars and World of Warcraft. We also accept writing as a primary 'game' as well for entrance into the Empire, and welcome those pens that wish to develop the lands we call Draconia. Prospective members must play one of our primary games or write to gain citizenship in Draconia.

Secondary Games
These are games that are popular within the lands, but we don't recruit for these games. Their popularity with our membership has risen to a point where they should be acknowledged, and we wish to provide a community for those members. Remember though that playing a secondary game isn't enought to gain knighthood or citizenship here, only a extra outlet for you to enjoy what we have to offer. The current secondary games are Neverwinter nights, and Warcraft 3, also both games' expansions.

Grandfather Games
The spirit of those long gone still are around, showing us the light of Kala and watching over us. Therefore, we choose to remember those games that provided the ancient foundation of the Empire. These games are ones you will see us play occasionally, but they have faded over time. The current Grandfather games are Diablo, Diablo 2 and all of their expansions.

We have standards for behaviour within a game, and etiquette that we ask our members to follow. Items found in game should be shared with those that need them most, for outfitting the group you play with helps you as well. When items are found within a game, ask if someone needs them if you don't. You never know where giving someone an item will produce the beginnings of a lasting friendship, something here in Draconia that is worth more than any amount of gold.

If you need to leave a game, it is well received if you simply inform those you are playing with that you need to leave. Otherwise, those in the game with you may think something happened to you and wait for your return. Just let them know you need to go, settle the items you collected as a group, and move on. No one expects you to play all the time, but only when you can.

As said above, we do sometimes duel for sport. However, we are a strict non-PK, non-PPK guild. Protecting those that need it is honorable, but bringing ourselves to the level of those that wish to ruin a game by their acts is unnacceptable. If you are attacked during a game, you may choose to defend yourself or leave. Once the duel is over, there should be no further hostilities. Defense is faultless; killing in cold blood is abhorent. We punish those that practice the art of PK and PPK as we would cheaters, for in our eyes neither is honorable.

In the spirit of community, most people wish to game in the same area as you and will ask for your help or offer help if you need it yourself. We are a group based in trust for fellow members. Helping those that are not as far along with you is a testament of true Draconian spirit, and know that those Draconians of the past smile on those that work to the betterment of others.
